Welcome to the month of April in LaunchED! This month is all students showing what they have learned and the growth they have experienced this year through state assessments. Please see the schedule for the spring assessment season below. And, as the end of the year draws near, please reach out to your teachers if you need support with any of your learning!

Weeks of April 7-April 16: State Assessments in LaunchED (CMAS and PSAT/SAT–see schedule below)
April 28: No school for students
May 7: Late Start for Students/Professional Learning for Teachers
May 15th: Last day for seniors!
May 14th: LaunchED Academic Awards Event (online)
May 22nd: Last day of school and LaunchED Graduation!

St. Vrain’s Unframed Art Show live at the Boulder County Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall from April 15-20Please join us at the Boulder County Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall from April 15-20 for the public viewing of artworks from all grade levels and schools across the St. Vrain Valley. Different mediums will be featured including ceramics, digital art/photography, drawing, jewelry making, metalwork, mixed media, painting, and printmaking.Learn more and see where the winning artworks will publish
Public Viewing Hours: Tuesday, April 15 through Saturday, April 19 – 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, April 20: 9:00 am to 2:00 p.m.
Artists’ Night Open House: Thursday, April 17: 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
District STEAM Night
Please join us at the Innovation Center on Tuesday, May 6 for our annual STEM Night! We’ll have STEM activities, a Make and Take section, and content specific STEM events in each of our focus areas, which include: Artificial Intelligence, Aerospace, Biosciences, Cybersecurity, Digital & Virtual Design, Entrepreneurship, Robotics, and Video Production. In addition, we’ll have larger outdoor STEM opportunities, the Student Design Guild, and Cardboard Carnival Games! Come to play from 4:30-6:30. We are excited to announce that registration is now open to attend our 4th
Annual SVVSD Job and Career Fair, hosted by the Career Elevation &
Technology Center (CETC) and The Innovation Center (IC). This event is
open to all SVVSD high school students, with Juniors and Seniors highly
encouraged to attend both locations.
The event will be on Monday, April 28th from 9:00am – 3:00pm and the
day will consist of two sessions, 9AM – 11:30AM and 12:30PM – 3PM, with a
1 hour break in between for lunch. Please scan the flier for more information!
