
We have reached the final month of the school year–its May! We are celebrating so much as we near the end of the year, and we also know that its still time to focus and finish strong. Keep up the great work, LaunchED!

Our district 5th Grade Field Day was a huge success! Our students showed amazing teamwork, gave it their all in every activity, and cheered each other on with so much spirit and kindness. We’re so proud of the way they supported one another and made the day fun for everyone. Thank you to Mr. Reid, Mr. Wallace, Ms. Mitchell, Ms. Dwire, Mr. Helfrich, and Ms. McMurtry for helping at this event–Way to go, 5th grade!

District STEAM Night
Please join us at the Innovation Center on Tuesday, May 6 for our annual STEM Night! We’ll have STEM activities, a Make and Take section, and content specific STEM events in each of our focus areas, which include: Artificial Intelligence, Aerospace, Biosciences, Cybersecurity, Digital & Virtual Design, Entrepreneurship, Robotics, and Video Production. In addition, we’ll have larger outdoor STEM opportunities, the Student Design Guild, and Cardboard Carnival Games! Come to play from 4:30-6:30. This summer, current 8th grade students can get a head start on their future with Opportunity CLIMB! This free program offers hands-on tech experience, career exploration, and mentorship from industry professionals. See the flyer for details and how to sign up!
