Principal’s Update & Important Dates
This spring, LaunchED students will have the chance to showcase their academic achievements through a series of assessments. These include the state assessments (CMAS, PSAT, & SAT) in the coming weeks, followed by the i-Ready assessment later in the season.
These assessments are valuable tools that allow students to demonstrate their learning progress throughout the year. The data we gather helps us improve instruction and celebrate each student’s growth.
If you have any questions about these assessments or your child’s participation, please don’t hesitate to contact us by phone or email. Our students are incredible learners and we know they have so much to show the world!

LaunchED Picture of the Week
Our LaunchED Picture of the week is to announce that the Chicken Channel is ready to go this year! The Chicken Channel is a live feed documenting the incubating eggs at the LaunchED office that any of our students and families can watch, but especially for our K/1 students who are learning about the life cycles of chickens as part of a science unit right now!

St. Vrain’s Unframed Art Show live at the Boulder County Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall from April 16-21
Please join us at the Boulder County Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall from April 16-21 for the public viewing of artworks from all grade levels and schools across the St. Vrain Valley. Different mediums will be featured including ceramics, digital art/photography, drawing, jewelry making, metalwork, mixed media, painting, and printmaking.
We will have many LaunchED students featured at this art show! Be sure to stop by and check out the artwork of our LaunchED students and all of our students in St. Vrain!

CMAS & PSAT/SAT Testing Information
Spring assessment season kicks into full gear in April! Please see the schedule below. Call our office at 303-702-8800 if you have any questions! Students that are testing will have an alternative schedule on testing days and will test in the morning with no scheduled classes in the afternoon (due to travel to and from testing location). Please check the email sent on Thursday to all of our families with important testing information!

LaunchED Community – Hearing and Vision Screening May 3, 2024
Take advantage of this opportunity for your child to be screened for hearing and vision by the district screening team!
Being able to see and hear is vital to a child’s ability to thrive, both academically and socially.
Attached is a google survey which is being sent to all LaunchEd parents with the option to sign up for a time slot for the screening on May 3rd.
