It’s the Week Before School Starts!
Welcome back, LaunchED families! This week, our teachers are back on campus, spending dedicated time planning, collaborating, and putting the finishing touches on what is going to be an epic school year. There is so much energy in our virtual halls as our team prepares to welcome our learners back!
As a reminder, our LaunchED Blast Off back-to-school event is happening this week. This will be a wonderful opportunity for students to pick up their materials, meet their teachers, and get everything they need to start the year strong. Our entire staff truly cannot wait to see you—check out the schedule details below, and let’s get ready to launch into a fantastic year together!

September 2nd: Late Start for Students/Professional Development for Staff

Welcome Back to Our Staff!
We had a great time at the SVVSD Convocation this week where our superintendent, Dr. Jackie Kapushion, welcomed our teachers back with a message of joy and celebration for public education and the incredible work of St Vrain Valley Schools. Then, our staff joined together at our LaunchED Campus for our opening session to the year where we celebrated the growth of our students last year and reflected on how we can continue to be a beacon of innovative, online learning for all the students that we welcome to our school throughout the year. Our staff is ready to welcome all of you back for the 2026-27 school year!

Join us for LaunchED Back to School Blast Off! This time is for students to come and pick up supplies, meet their teachers, get their student ID, and more. Please note–we will not be taking student portraits at this time this year. Stop by at anytime between 2-6pm on your grade level day–we are looking forward to seeing you all there!
K-8th Grades is on August 12th from 2-6pm
9th-12th Grades is on August 13th from 2-6pm

Attention Families! iPad Insurance!
We strongly recommend families opt into our iPad Insurance program to cover accidental damage. The replacement cost for new iPads is $677.95. The insurance fee is $25 for the year, with reduced fees available for qualifying families. Incremental payments are accepted at the front office. Without insurance, families are responsible for the full cost of repairs or replacement, which can be a significant financial burden. The insurance program offers peace of mind, ensuring students can continue learning without disruption in the event of accidental damage. Taking advantage of this low-cost option helps protect your investment and supports uninterrupted access to instructional technology.
iPad Insurance can be paid online via Infinite Campus or by cash at the front office.
Quick Scheduling Reminders
Attention 6th-12th graders! We are working to balance class sizes and make sure that students have all the required classes they need. Please note that schedules may change due to this–and our admin or counseling team will email you if your schedule changed.
We recommend all students check their schedules the week school begins and if you have any questions, please contact your school counselor or our administration team.
