As we near the end of this semester in LaunchED, it’s fantastic to see our students putting in tremendous effort to finish strong! To ensure your student gets the support they need, encourage them to make the most of resources like office hours and one-on-one sessions with teachers.We know this is a busy time of year, and we hope that you and your families have a wonderful weekend!

Something we love about LaunchED is that our students have opportunities to meet in person for some of our clubs (and also they can still attend online)! Check out a recent photo from our secondary STEAM team where students were working both in person and online to code a Sphero!

New Club/Team Opportunity!

Do you love learning about different online tools and resources? Do you like helping people problem solve their tech issues? Do you want to help teach students that are new to LaunchED how to use tools like Schoology or Notability? Then, the Tech Team is for you! Please fill out this interest form below! This team is open to students in 4th-12th grades. This team is an online-only team (we will not meet in person).

Attention Students (and parents)!
Please make sure that your iPad is updated to the latest iOS. We recommend checking weekly to see if there is a new update for your iPad’s operating system. So many apps and websites for LaunchED rely on these updates.
STEAM CLUBS RETURN TO LAUNCHED!
We have three STEAM-focused clubs available at LaunchED:
STEAM Stars: Students in Grades K-2, meets one time a month, and 3rd-5th meets two times a month.
STEAM Club: Students in Grades 6-12 meet two times a month.
Students can join in person at our LaunchED campus or online!

About 2,400 receive diplomas Longmont High School graduating senior Adalee Mathias kept track of each step of her high school experience. “It took 1,375 days, and hopefully a few less tardies, to get to this field with these caps and gowns on and so many amazing memories,” Mathias told her fellow graduates.

Superintendent’s Update: Congratulations Class of 2026
Graduation is my favorite time of year, and this spring, as I have the privilege of celebrating my first graduation season as Superintendent of St. Vrain Valley Schools, I am overwhelmed with pride for the approximately 2,400 graduates who will walk across the stage to receive their diplomas.
