Let’s Celebrate a Fantastic Year in LaunchED!

What a truly remarkable year it has been at LaunchED Academy! Our students have not only excelled in online learning but have also demonstrated the incredible power of building a vibrant community and fostering collaboration from a distance. We are incredibly proud of their numerous accomplishments throughout the year, which include:

• Continuing a highly successful district-wide AGILE Advanced Placement Art History class, welcoming many students to their first AP experience.
• Fostering S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) learning through a rich variety of after-school clubs and diverse middle and high school elective classes.
• Celebrating students achieving at the highest levels in district, state, and national competitions across school and club sports, as well as through extracurricular activities.
• Our 5th-grade students showcasing outstanding teamwork and determination during the district-wide field day, participating enthusiastically in all the fun events.
• Inspiring our K-5 students at the Innovation Center field trip, where they brilliantly applied design thinking to engineer creative ideas.
• Highlighting the artistic talents of our 6th-12th grade students at the district-wide art show, “Unframed,” where many received well-deserved awards for their works in photography, digital art, painting, and sculpture.
• Achieving impressive learning gains across K-8, as evidenced by significant progress in both reading and math on i-Ready assessments.
• Marking a wonderful milestone with an increase in our senior graduation rate—a testament to the unwavering dedication and hard work of these students and their teachers.

And that’s just a glimpse of what our students have achieved! We encourage you to engage with your students and discover what moments from their time in LaunchED they are most proud of. Their growth, resilience, and dedication this year have been nothing short of extraordinary!

LaunchED Class of 2025 Graduation is Thursday, May 22nd @5:00pm

Although the LaunchED Virtual Academy Graduation Ceremony requires tickets for in-person attendance, our district also offers a live stream so everyone can celebrate from home! See the livestream here: https://stvra.in/launched2025

Not returning to LaunchED?

If you are leaving LaunchED, please make sure to return any materials that you may have received for specific classes here in our school (example, Logitech Crayon for art classes, marker boards for math or literacy, etc). Your iPad stays with you if you are staying in the district.

If you are leaving our school district, please make sure to return your iPad to the LaunchED office by June 6th! If you need help with this, please call our office at 303-702-8800 and we will work with you directly.

Save the Date 2025-26 School Year!

New this year! LaunchED Blast Off (our back to school event) is now at the LaunchED Campus!!!

At Blast Off students will meet their teachers, take their school photo, get their student ID, and pick up materials needed for the fall classes.

On Thursday, August 7th, from 1:30 to 3:00 PM, we’re throwing an awesome orientation just for incoming 6th graders at our LaunchED Campus (619 Bowen Street in Longmont, CO)

What’s in store for you?

• Unlock your schedule: No more mystery! We’ll help you understand where to go and when.
• iPad power-up: Get your school iPad ready to roll with all the apps you’ll need for an amazing start.
• Email unlocked: Set up your school email so you can stay connected and get important updates.
• Super skill builders: Learn tips and tricks to build awesome habits that will make 6th grade your best year yet!

This isn’t just a meeting; it’s your official sneak peek and a chance to get a head start on an incredible middle school journey. Then, stick around to take your school ID at our Blast Off event! Mark your calendars – you won’t want to miss it!

Congratulations to our LaunchED Retirees!

Please join us in congratulating Dawn Spencer (Kinder/1st Grade) and Janet Wilson (High School/Middle School Spanish Teacher) as they are retiring from St. Vrain Valley School District this year! These two incredible educators are pillars in our LaunchED community and we are thankful for their years of leadership and support as they have helped to build our incredible school.

Career Elevation & Technology Center Camps | cetc.svvsd.org

Back again this summer, CETC camps invite incoming seventh and eighth grade students to explore future career pathways through interactive sessions in Agriscience, Automotive Technology, Health Sciences, Advanced Manufacturing, Culinary Arts, Interactive Media, Welding, and Pre-Law Mock Trial. Camps will run either Tuesday–Friday, May 27–30, or Monday-Thursday, June 2-5, with two session times available: morning (8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.) or afternoon (11:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.).

Space is limited. Families can learn more and register online through RevTrack.

This summer, current 8th grade students can get a head start on their future with Opportunity CLIMB! This free program offers hands-on tech experience, career exploration, and mentorship from industry professionals. See the flyer for details and how to sign up!
