New this year as well in LaunchED are the weekly announcements posted to each grade level Schoology course including information about upcoming events–we recommend looking over those announcements with your students, too. If your student has any health concerns please reach out to Wendi so she can keep your health plans up-to-date. Health plans help us understand students’ needs, and respond to medical concerns, including in online classes as well as those experiences in activities such as clubs, sports, music, CMAS, and SAT testing.

Attention 6th-8th Grade Students

Students! Join in on First Chapter Fridays in November from 11:30-12:00pm each Friday! This event will include a read-a-loud of favorite first chapters from books (read by students and teachers and some surprise guests). Attention Students (and parents)!
Please make sure that your iPad is updated to the latest iOS. We recommend checking weekly to see if there is a new update for your iPad’s operating system. So many apps and websites for LaunchED rely on these updates.

Attention 6th-12th grade students–join the ART Club! There are three upcoming dates–October 20th, November 17th, and December 8th. Art club will be from 10:45-11:30am. You can join in Mrs. Freeman’s Webex Room: https://launched.webex.com/launched/j.php?MTID=m3e10e3b468f9335a5aaf7ae819f4004f


STEAM CLUBS RETURN TO LAUNCHED!
We have three STEAM-focused clubs available at LaunchED:
STEAM Stars: Students in Grades K-2, meets one time a month, and 3rd-5th meets two times a month.
STEAM Club: Students in Grades 6-12 meet two times a month.
Students can join in person at our LaunchED campus or online!
