Digging into Math with Online Collaboration Tools
We’re excited to share how we’re using online math tools to enhance student learning, specifically, a new collaboration tool called Padlet. By leveraging these kinds of tools, our students are collaborating in real-time, sharing their work, and receiving immediate feedback. Teachers can support students as they work together in real-time, solving complex problems and seeing each other’s work live. This interactive approach is fostering deeper understanding of mathematical concepts and improving problem-solving skills. Thank you Dr. Houghton for sharing this example!
Spirit Week! October 28-Nov 1st
Our student leadership team planned a stellar spirit week for the end of October. Join in and show your excitement for being a part of LaunchED!

LaunchED Open House (for Prospective Students) Wednesday, October 30th, 6:00-7:00pm

Do you have a friend or family member who is curious about LaunchED for their student(s)? Invite them to join us for our district LaunchED Open House on Wednesday, October 30th from 6-7pm on Webex (Link to Event: https://svvsd.webex.com/svvsd/j.php?MTID=ma12a3f82f4b404ee630c67e3570ef5b8 ). This virtual event will feature information for prospective students interested in our school and include information about enrollment and what to expect as a student in LaunchED! Please pass this on to any one you know curious about online schooling in our state as we can enroll students from anywhere in Colorado!

Attention Secondary Students!
Now is the time to be thinking about the end of the semester (9th-12th grades) and quarter (6th-8th grades). One of the most important parts of LaunchED is the opportunity to have 1:1 support with your teachers in Office Hours. Families–help your students schedule and attend office hours with teachers, especially in the classes where they need the most support. The end of the semester may feel far away, however, now is the time to get that support you need to end this semester strong!
